These are prayers that you offer together in a group like in a church with members. The issue here is that are offered in a group of more than two people and that means it is not a must for you to be in church, you can meet and gather anywhere and agree on some issues maybe as intercessors,when fasting,praise and worship church leaders, student leaders among many other groups. These prayers are very effective in that they unite, bring and bond the members together in one accord as bonded together by the vision of the group. The word says;

Mat 18:19  Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

   The word is encouraging us here, where two or three believers have come together to pray, the lord is there in their midst. The two of you are enough to start off a prayer meeting but in contrary brethren tend to delay the prayers and start late because the number is small, others who are part of the team want to  wait until the number is bigger but as you do this remember you are the one being waited for so hurry up and redeem time because the days are evil.

Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

    You should know that the devil our enemy really fight prayers, and one way he do that is through making sure you are late or you don’t  completely attend co-operate prayers. It is very simple to prove this, I want you to consider all the days or time during which you are supposed to meet in church for prayers and the number of times you have  been absent or late. Have you done that? I hope so. Now in those days that you have been absent or late, is there anything very urgent or important that would really have made you absent? If a genuine reason its okay but most of time you will find that you were just at home may be watching TV, chatting with friends who only visit you at this time or simply doing nothing. You just felt not like attending. You just ‘felt like that and lacked the mood’ as many say. I challenge you to wake up, launch deeper and start praying.

 There some blessings, healing, anointing, touch of the Lord among others that you will miss simply because you are not serious and sensitive with time of prayers or time that you are supposed to worship God.

Act 3:1  Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2  And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

I want you to note two critical points from these verses;

 1. If the lame man was not at the beautiful gate at this time, he could have been healed.

2.If peter and john did not attend these ninth hour prayers, they could have been used by the lord for healing.

Joh 5:4  For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

 From the above verse we see that it was only at a specific time that the healing was available, only after the stirring of the water by the angel. This gives us the reason as to why the man was at this pool for such long time. He simply lacked an opportunity to enter into the water because of his condition.

 The power and grace for healing, deliverance, breaking of foundations is not permanent but seasonal, the lord releases His wonderful Holy Spirit to do the work through His servant at specific chosen time and if you are not there, neither will you experience a touch of the Holy Spirit nor will you be used of the lord.  Brethren, it is the high time that we be available on time to be used and receive a touch of the lord. Let’s treat prayer time seriously the same way or even more we treat appointments, flight departures, interviews and job reporting time
