Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Psa 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
From the Amos 3:3 The word says that you can’t walk together until you agree in one accord on some things. I have come to realize that fasting especially a group or chain fasting will be highly effective if brethren walk in the same direction and all of them speak in one voice and be faithful to what agreed. It is good for you to agree whether you will do dry or partial fasting and if partial which meals you will miss as a group. I have also seen praying together when you are done with fasting very effective in uniting the group.
If you have been fasting as a group, It is good for you to hold hands together in the evening or any time you are calling off your fasting and agree in unison on what you have been praying for during the day. Some brethren in the church are never faithful during fasting; they always break the agreement hence breaking the bond that eventually results to devil victory because the fasting will be ineffective.
I want to challenge you in the name of Jesus, if you know that you will not be faithful with the days during chain prayer do not pick Monday, Wednesday but allow other that will be faithful to pick. Please do not hide yourself from other brethren and eat, this is a trick of the enemy and it make others feel weak and eventually no breakthrough.
If there is something that the devil fights, is fasting. You want to see people who have never offered lunch, chicken, classic hotel dinners then fast and they will come one by one .Be wise because the devil want just to stop your prayers and spiritual explosion and destruction that you are causing in his kingdom. Unity and being faithful! Is very vital when comes to chain prayers and group fasting. ‘Father I pray that this reader may understand what I mean, may you give him or her a spiritual revelation and a deeper understanding on this’ .I really want this to sink deep in your heart. Consider this illustration in a tag of war game
This game will try to emphasis what I mean by being faithful and united. During this game equal number of persons are selected, and if one of them withdraws from any of the side, he/she makes his/her team members weak and hence defeated. So is the group fasting. Shalom.JOSEPH MIRACLE
